good value location was good, breakfast was good and staff very helpful. i liked the building and the quirky decor.

Very hard to print out boarding passes on day of departure. Low tech kit - staff helpful however and we did this-after an hour!

Traditional looking hotel, lovely old building, close to main shopping area, easy access to S Bahn (valid with my EurRail pass), easy walking distance to many local facilities, great trip to Berlin Zoo (by foot). Hotel is close to first stop for the Hop On/Off Bus which I used over two days. Exceptionally clean and large bathroom - sparkling. Found Reception staff quite responsive although a little (culturally) reserved. Arty pieces around the hotel and in breakfast area were visually interesting.Loved the old feel and history of the place and central open areas. Definitely would come back. Good price for my room which included breakfast, ensuring a good start to my fully-packed day.

Thin wall between my room and next door - couple next door rather loud and banging door late at night on my first night there. (Not a problem with hotel but I did alert next door residents to the fact I had trouble sleeping. Even though my room was a non smoking room, a smoking smell was evident as soon as I opened the door. Let it air out for a while but always obvious when I opened the door (I did learn to live with this),

Olde worlde decor and history; outstanding staff with excellent language skills, including Russian! Very relaxed atmosphere - they made you feel really at home.

Not having ensuite bathroom facilities was strange at first, but in fact the corridor facilities were excellent.

After several trips to Berlin, the hotel Bogota was a real supprise. The good English and German speaking staf has been verry friendly and their service was excelent. The rooms where sober but clean, the beds were very comfortable, so where the shared showers and toilets. Breakfast was excelent.

Everything and above all the feeling of a long tradition of hospitality and graciousness. And the memory of its changeable history.

As in any big city, you are never in the epicenter as there are many central locations. However, Bogota is in a good location, just stay on the back streets to find value.

Long walk to the s or Underground - But there are buses!

Nice location and near S-bahn Savignyplatz and U-bahn Uhlandstraße.

Great prices. Good central location. 24 hour per day open reception with excellent service. Breakfast included in already good price. Was my second stay at the hotel and first choice of hotel if go back to berlin.

I really loved this hotel. The location is perfect, S bahn stop is very near, hotel is clean and very nice. Highly recommended.

It is a privilege to stay at a hotel with such a long and rich history. Very impressive building. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Late check out is no problem. If you ask for it.

Very poor breakfast does not ensure quiet
